ABSTRACT While ‘social justice’ is a recent concept, its origins lie in 13th century theologian, who, through an Italian Jesuit, inspired 19th Pope. From there it has moved to the secular realm and jurisprudential reasoning, tried leap from national society international society. It become linked internationally human rights obligations, where had mixed influence. Within all these developments, definitions of social justice have changed been debated. There common idea that societies should be aim distribute resources assist those less advantaged. In addition, core element remained: state some obligations ensure justice.
